Through a number of fantastic community partnerships with the Trail Conservancy’s Music on the Trails, Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center and Austin Bergstrom International Airport’s Live Music in the Air, we have been able to offer gig opportunities at our established city standard pay rate of $250 and higher, with over $100K paid out thus far to musicians, dancers, and visual artists who participated in our Beyond the Music Project Arts Concerts and our annual concert series, Austin Jazz Glitz & Glam, between 2015 to 2025.
Through our commitment to preserving jazz music, our concert series emerged, showcasing a diverse range of musical styles. We highlight jazz, blues, indigenous music from various cultures, and classical music within our performances.
Our organization actively works with musicians of all genres. We also make a conscious effort to feature marginalized musicians in various music genres, responding to requests to broaden representation and inclusivity in our events.

Through diligent engagement and active listening within diverse communities, we are able to provide solutions that address access, opportunity, and safety for our Black, Latinx, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, Women, and Disabled musicians, visual artists, and dancers.
